Kinship Group LLC is Hiring a Project Manager (Multi-Family) Near Auburn, WA

Description
This position manages aspects of complex multi-family projects from inception to completion. Deals with a diverse group of external callers as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization. Independent judgement is required to plan, prioritize and organize diversified workload.
Essential Functions
  • Review job contract and related information to ensure it is accurate and complete.
  • Work with contractors to prepare project plan, schedule material delivery and manage project documents.
  • Work with Detailers, Purchasing, Billing and Operations to meet project specifications.
  • Manage change orders to maximize profit and keep projects up to date through completion.
  • Estimate and/or detail smaller projects for customers.
  • Coordinate product/keying meetings and deliveries to jobsites as needed.
  • Visit jobsites and/or customer offices as required.
  • Efficiently handle multiple tasks and projects, while meeting project specific deadlines.
  • Learn new software programs as company grows and industry advances.
Job Qualifications
  • Required Education: High School Diploma
  • Preferred Education: College Degree
  • Preferred Experience: Minimum 5 years in commercial or residential door and hardware industry
  • AHC certification preferred. AHC level proficiency required.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Hollow Metal and Division 8 hardware knowledge
  • Knowledge of Building Codes is helpful
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Familiar with project management software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy

Physical Demands/Work Environment
  • This position requires the employee to frequently remain in a stationary position, constantly operating a computer. The employee must occasionally move or transport up to 25 pounds of office supplies or equipment.
  • This position requires vision and hearing abilities. The employee must be able to communicate verbally and visually with customers, vendors, and coworkers. The employee must be able to detect, discern, and convey information accurately and effectively.
  • This role operates in a professional or office environment (or both) and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computer, phone, and/or photocopier.
